The Child Development Center is located in Vernon Hills and housed within the Central Lake YMCA.
At the Central Lake Child Development Center your child will learn all kinds of exciting things in the world around them. We carefully design every activity to expand your child’s imagination and encourage lifelong positive values. Full and part-week classes are divided in age appropriate programs for 6 weeks through 5 years of age, providing your children with high quality, fun experiences that will inspire each child to grow to their fullest potential.
Each of our five classrooms display a warm and brightly colored environment with lofts and child size furniture. Our outdoor area includes two playgrounds, a walking path around the facility and nearby parks for the children to enjoy. Age appropriate field trips are offered for children 3-5 as well as access to our zero depth indoor pool.
